Quills and Scrolls- A Paper Presentation Event

The Indian Institute of Metals, Varanasi chapter has organised Quills and Scrolls-a paper presentation event, for the promotion of research and scientific paper presentations in the streams related to metallurgy and material science.

The event will be hosted on the 11th of February 2009, at 3:30 p.m. at N. P. Gandhi Memorial Hall, Department of Metallurgical Engineering,IT-BHU. The final teams will be shortlisted on the basis on their submitted abstracts.The rules and regulations are as follows:

1. Each team will consist of max. 2 members.

2. The abstract will contain 3 pages including the cover page containing the names, email ids, year and branch of the respective members of the team, and the next two pages containing the details of the abstract.

3. The abstract has to be submitted in "Times New Roman" font type and with font size of 12.

4. The abstract has to be emailed to metallurgyitbhu@yahoo.in latest by 4th February, 2009.

5. At the final event, each team will be given 8+2 min. to give their presentations.

This event is open for students of all years with special prizes for first and second yearites.

The first year students can also submit a hard copy of their abstract for the event. The rules of the same are as follows:
1. The team should consist of max. 2 members.
2. The last date for submission is 4th February, 2009
There will be 2 prizes allotted for each Section:A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I, a total of 18 prizes.
